In this method the bank will take about 48 hours to activate the facility of Mobile Banking.

In the third method, you can go to the Axis Bank ATM which is closest to you, and complete the process as described underneath.

  • Insert your Debit Card and enter the PIN number
  • Select the ‘Other Services’ menu item
  • Select ‘Mobile Banking Registration/Update’ menu item
  • Enter the mobile number you want to register
  • Re-enter the mobile number

Upon completion of the registration, Axis Bank Customer Care system would send the Activation Code for your account via SMS once you register mobile number at an ATM. After receiving the Activation Code, you are required to activate your account number on Axis Mobile by following the instructions given in the SMS. The process of activation is identical, even if you have chosen to register by the above described First Method, or the Second Method.

The Method of Operation of Axis Bank Mobile Banking – Axis Mobile

There are two methods of operation. It is dependent on the type of Mobile Handset you possess. If you have a GPRS enabled handset, then you will have to go to this link http://mobile.axisbank.co.in/dl and download Axis Mobile Software or else send an SMS as MBANK to 5676782. Once downloaded, just click on the Icon which will be written as Axis Mobile. It will open up a page on your mobile screen which will look similar to the one that you see in the Axis Bank ATM Machine. Here you can start conducting transactions. It is important for us to mention that you should have subscribed with your mobile service provider for usage of GPRS Service, to use the Axis Bank Mobile Banking Software.

Axis Bank mobile banking charges

A flat fee of Rs. 150 (plus taxes) would be charged for the financial year for using the Axis Bank Mobile Banking Facility. A free trial period of 60 days is offered to every first time registration. If you unsubscribe within 60 days, no charge would be levied for the service.
